GET CONNECTED TO JESUS (Christmas Message)

Mobile was invented to make and receive, calls and text
TV was designed to deliver picture and voice together
Motor vehicles were invented to carry people and goods

And so on so forth, each new instrument invented on this Earth, is designed for a specific purpose. The creator, of these inventions, fore-saw, their purpose and power. Jesus our creator no doubt has the same purpose, in His mind, while he designed us.

Mobile although can receive and make calls, cannot do it on it's own. It's powerless without a sim card. TV without antenna or cable connection is useless, neither can motor run without oil. Their purpose to deliver is stalled, if the power (sim, cable connection) is lost or not connected. Let's not lose another Christmas without getting connected.... connected to our owner, inventor, designer, guide and lover... Jesus Christ.

BENEFITS OF BEING CONNECTED.

I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing…If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.” John 15:5,7 (NIV) Once you have understood why we need to GET connected, then STAY connected.

STAY CONNECTED TO JESUS
How do we stay connected to Jesus?

S- Scripture. Jesus said 'if His words remain in us, we will remain connected to Him'. We must spend quality time reading and studying the Bible, this is important to our union.

T- Time. Spend time improving and mending your broken relations with others. Get close to other people. Pray for them. Help the needy. When we get close to other people and care for them, it is caring for Jesus.

A- Attitude. Thank god for all that He has give. Praise God. Worship the one and only Heavenly Father. Our prayers, our praise and our worship make us aware of our connection to the creator.

Y- You. God made man, and gave him the choice to either stay connected to Him or become fallen in sin. You decide. It's your choice.
