MAN and WOMAN

Genesis 2:21-22: 21So the Lord God called the man (Adam) to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, God took one of the man's rib and closed up the place with flesh. 22Then the Lord and God made a woman from the rib He had taken out of the man, and He brought her (Eve) to the man.

The scriptures clearly state, woman was created out of a mans ribs. Therefore it proves the following:

• Woman is not taken out of a man's head so that she dominate man.
• Woman was neither taken out from man's foot, to be trampled by man.
• Woman was taken from the man's ribs.

This signifies the following:

• Under man's arm to be protected.
• Near to his heart.
• Made equal to man
• Rib from a man's side to be taken care of always.

To sum up; 1 Corinthians 11:8,9,11 sheds more light on this:

• Man did not come from woman, but woman did.
• Man is not made for woman, but woman is.
• Under God: all are equal. Neither are free of each other.

Gen: 2:23 The man said “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called 'woman, for she was taken out of a man.”
